Since 1994, I have been living on Marco Island. Believe me, there is nothing like it. Our beach is one of the most beautiful in the world.
On Marco Island, one of the most beautiful and desirable resort communities, we have it all! Beautiful beaches, great fishing and boating. From community theater performances to unique art galleries, Marco Island has a variety of choices for cultural activities. While visiting the island, you can visit our world-class art league facility, historic exhibits, and working artists' studio. There are street festivals, outdoor art fairs and plenty of sunshine.
Now, let's talk golf. Around Marco Island, there are a number of great courses. On Marco Island, we have the Island Country Club. A premier country club featuring an easy but picturesque golf course, tennis courts and great dining. An older membership, the members and staff are the some of the friendliest folks you'll ever meet. I should know. I've was a member for 11 years and had the privlege of knowing many of these people. Magical. Mystical. Marco Island.
Florida's tropical paradise. Color splashed sunsets mirrored on sparkling Gulf waters. An intimate setting surrounded by sun-washed white beaches. This tiny island suspended off the south west tip of Florida awaits your arrival. The allure is tropical. The attitude is easy-paced casual. By boat, we can be in Key West in less that 4 hours. And what a treat the ride is. Frolicking dolphins welcome you to this sun-kissed sanctuary with more than 200 species of birds, including the American bald eagle, and the endangered West Indian manatee. Warm sunshine, brilliant emerald waters and endless island adventures abound. Begin with a dip in the Gulf. Soak in the sun on ivory shores. Cast into some of the world's finest fishing.
Tour the wild wetlands of the Florida Everglades. Canoe along uninhabited islands. Or, go shelling to fill buckets full of flawless keepsakes from the beach. Land lovers explore by bike or trolley and discover Marco Island's past as a secluded hideaway for Indians, pirates and famous explorers.
